Stage Noir

Low on leads and all out of whiskey, a down-on-his-luck Detective has no choice but to team up with unlikely allies and old enemies to solve a cold missing persons case with deeply personal stakes. As he gets closer to unravelling the truth it becomes clear that nothing is what it seems and that secrets never stay buried. An Unexpected Tale in Smoky Midtown is a powerful new piece of theatre exploring neurodiversity, love and grief. Featuring a compelling score and original songs performed live by the cast and composer, An Unexpected Tale in Smoky Midtown is a universal story of self-acceptance and reclaiming one’s narrative set in a fantastical Film Noir setting that will keep you guessing.
